Frequently asked questions about our NYC bakery

📦 How do I get my order?

Add products to the cart, then select a date and time you'd like to pick up or receive delivery. Once you place an order, I’ll text you to confirm the order. Orders cut off at noon the day before.

Pick-up orders in Astoria from New York Pão de Queijo (31-90 30th street, Astoria).

🚚 Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver to Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. You can select the delivery time slot and date in the cart before checkout. 100% of the delivery fee collected goes to our driver. See delivery info.

🏡 Do you have a store?

Not yet. Crescent Bakes is a made-to-order micro-bakery baking from a commissary kitchen in Astoria. That means we don’t keep a retail case stocked. Every order is baked for a scheduled pickup or delivery date.

🔁 How do I make a change?

Just message us! As long as your order hasn’t gone in the oven yet, we'll do our best to adjust.

🍞 How should I store my bread?

It’s best enjoyed fresh within a few days, wrapped in a kitchen towel on your counter. After that, I recommend popping it in the freezer and warming it up in the oven or toaster when you're ready.

🐄 What butter do you recomend?

Kerrygold unsalted butter topped with Fleur de Sel has great quality and is easy to find here in the US. But when I'm in France, I always go for Beurre Paysan Breton with Guérande salt crystals.

🌾 Do you offer any gluten-free items?

We don’t currently offer gluten-free products. Our sourdough is made with wheat flour and is not safe for anyone with celiac disease or a wheat allergy. Some customers who avoid conventional bread prefer naturally leavened, long-fermented sourdough, but please use your own judgment.
