This loaf was made for sandwiches. Taller and softer than our classic sourdough, it slices cleanly and stays moist for days—perfect for your weekly lunch prep.
We add a touch of honey and grapeseed oil to the dough for tenderness, while keeping the same slow-fermented sourdough base. You get all the tangy flavor without the dense crumb—so your sandwich fillings stay the star.
Each loaf yields about 16-18 slices. Customers tell us it's become their go-to for everything from weekday lunches to weekend French toast.
This is our favorite bread. Sometimes we just eat it on its own with olive oil because it's that delicious 😋
This was my first time ordering from Crescent Bakes. I ordered the Sourdough Sandwich loaf and MY GOD, how do people give up carbs? This bread was perfect. Soft, doughy and delicious. I've toasted it with butter and jam, used it for a sandwiches and made some framed eggs and avocado toast with it. It's perfection any way you eat it. So flavorful and didn't make me feel bloated at all. Will be ordering all my bread from here going forward. So happy you exist in our neighborhood!

This feels like luxury brand bread. Delicious and addicting. It’s amazing as part of a sandwich or on its own. We like to snack on it all week—if it lasts that long!

This bread is perfect: golden and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s great for sandwiches but has been hard to resist just eating on its own (and I just saw another reviewer said the same thing). We also received some other products (mini financiers and a baguette) to sample because there was a mix-up with the timing, and they were so good, too. Such high quality, and a wonderful experience all around. We’ll be ordering regularly!!
