This loaf was made for sandwiches. Taller and softer than my classic sourdough, it slices cleanly and stays moist for days—perfect for your weekly lunch prep.
I add a touch of honey and grapeseed oil to the dough for tenderness, while keeping the same slow-fermented sourdough base. You get all the tangy flavor without the dense crumb—so your sandwich fillings stay the star.
Each loaf yields about 16-18 slices. Customers tell me it's become their go-to for everything from weekday lunches to weekend French toast.

This bread is perfect: golden and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s great for sandwiches but has been hard to resist just eating on its own (and I just saw another reviewer said the same thing). We also received some other products (mini financiers and a baguette) to sample because there was a mix-up with the timing, and they were so good, too. Such high quality, and a wonderful experience all around. We’ll be ordering regularly!!
